Prof. Dr. Jens Huober is a Professor of Gynecologic Oncology. He is a board-certified gynecologist specializing in senology and gynecological oncology, with a focus on systemic drug therapies. Prof. Huober was appointed Head of the Breast Care Center in Sankt Gallen, Switzerland, in January 2021. Before, he was working at the University Hospital in Ulm from 2013 to 2020. In Ulm, he was Professor of Conservative Gynecologic Oncology and Head of the Breast Center and the Gynecologic Medical Oncology Service in the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. During his time in Ulm, Prof. Huober was also a member of the executive board of the Comprehensive Cancer Centre Ulm. In addition to his many years of clinical experience, Prof. Huober also has an extensive track record in conducting clinical phase I to III studies in breast carcinoma and gynecological malignancies. He has a track record of scientific publications and is an author of more than 250 peer-reviewed articles. He has an excellent network in gynecological and medical oncology. He is a member of the German Breast Group (GBG) and the Swiss Cancer Institute and Co-chair of the breast project group.

In addition, he is well-positioned nationally and internationally within relevant expert committees and, among other things, is a member of the panel of the St. Gallen International Breast Cancer Conference, where the guidelines for systemic therapies for localized breast cancer are defined every two years. Further, he is a member of the German AGO, which updates the recommendations for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Patients with Early and advanced breast cancer every year.
