Ana Magalhães Ferreira, MD, PhD

Medical Oncologist, Portuguese Oncology Institute of Porto, Porto, Portugal

Dr. Ferreira, a native of Porto, completed her medical education in 2002 from the New Medical School in Lisbon. Since 2010, she has been practicing Medical Oncology at IPO-Porto. She obtained the degree of Graduated Assistant in 2020. At Portuguese Oncology Institute of Porto, she has been responsible for the Medical area of the Connective Tissue and Bone Clinic since 2005 and for the Medical area of the Breast Clinic since May 2022. In addition, she has been responsible for the unknown primary cancer consultation and is currently serving as the President of the Oncological Studies Group and a member of the Board of the Study Group on Sarcomas. Moreover, Dr. Ferreira is a National coordinator and Principal Investigator of multiple clinical trials, and she has coauthored publications in indexed international journals.
