Dr. Chintamani is a distinguished figure in breast cancer, holding prestigious positions such as President of the Asian Society of Mastology (ASOMA) and past President of The Association of Breast Surgeons of India. His influence extends globally, serving as President of The American College of Surgeons (Governor at Large-GAL) India Chapter and International Surgical Advisor for The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. His expertise is acknowledged by his membership in the esteemed Academy of “Master Surgeons Educators” within the American College of Surgeons. A visionary in breast health, he is the Founding Chair of “The Breast Global” and serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Breast Global Journal. Dr. Chintamani’s contributions transcend borders as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Indian Cancer Genome Atlas (ICGA) and a Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine UK. Currently, he holds the position of Chief of the Breast & Endocrine Unit at VMMC, Safdarjang Hospital, New Delhi, India, having previously led the Department of Surgery there. His leadership roles span multiple prestigious organizations, including Chairmanship and Editor-in-Chief of the Indian Journal of Surgery and Joint Editor of the Indian Journal of Surgical Oncology. Dr. Chintamani’s commitment to the field is evident through his multifaceted roles, shaping the landscape of breast cancer care nationally and internationally.
