Dr. Edson Cassinela is a Professor of Medicine and an experienced scientist at the National Centre for Scientific Research Angola. He holds a Ph.D. from AC Camargo Cancer Center, Brazil, and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Alberta, Canada. Having developed valuable cellular and molecular biology skills, Dr. Casssinela has a significant interest in transferring know-how and technical capacity to Angola. His expertise is recognized internationally as evidenced by invitations for lectures at significant international conferences Dr. Cassinela has been interested in the Role of Extracellular Vesicles in Cancer, Physical Activity and Cancer, Cancer Resistance, Cancer Biomarkers, and Hereditary Breast Cancer.
