Dr. Vartika Saxena, an alumna of GSVM Medical College, Uttar Pradesh, further honed her expertise in Community Medicine at King George Medical College, Lucknow. Following a significant stint as a UNICEF consultant, she embraced academia by joining the Himalayan Institute of Medical Sciences as an Assistant Professor. Her journey continued at AIIMS Rishikesh, where she undertook various roles,including Dean Research, culminating as the Department Head of Community and Family Medicine. Internationally acknowledged, Dr.Saxena was recently designated a Visiting Professor at the University of South Wales, UK. With an unwavering commitment to public health, she actively partners with international agencies, driving improved health outcomes for underserved communities. Her commendable work has been recognized with the Shri Siddhi Nath Awasthi Memorial Award and the National Idol Achiever’s Award in 2023. A dedicated educator, Dr.Saxena’s influence spans over twenty years and has shaped countless medical careers.
